The conference will cover a wide range of equipment, including mobile and tower cranes.

The first International Cranes and Transport Middle East (CATME) conference will be held on December 8th at the Conrad Dubai hotel, according to the event organiser, the KHL Group and International Cranes and Specialised Transport magazine.

With free entry for industry professionals, the one-day conference will focus on improving health and safety in lifting and transport operations, increasing the efficiency of fleet management practices and enhancing the productivity of equipment on site.

The conference will cover a wide range of equipment and markets, including mobile and crawler cranes, tower cranes, specialised transport equipment and business sectors including construction, energy, oil and gas and general industry.

CATME is part of a series of International Cranes and Transport conferences held globally, including the International Cranes and Transport Asia Pacific and the World Cranes and Transport Summit.

There is healthy demand for lifting and specialised transport services in the region, the organiser said, given that the Middle East remains one of the world’s most active construction and infrastructure markets.

The first Cranes and Transport Middle East (CATME) conference - organised by International Cranes and Specialized Transport magazine and KHL group - will be a high-level, one-day conference focused on:

  • Improving health and safety in lifting and transport operations;

  • Increasing the efficiency of fleet management practices;

  • Enhancing the productivity of equipment on site;

  • Highlighting best practice advice and case studies from around the world.

The conference, which is free for industry delegates, will cover a wide range of equipment and markets, including:

  • Mobile and crawler cranes;

  • Tower cranes;

  • Specialized transport equipment, including SPMT;

The Middle East remains one of the world’s most active construction and infrastructure markets. Governments continue to invest heavily in transport, utilities and ports, and are making efforts to diversify their economies beyond their reliance on hydrocarbons. There will be enormous demand for lifting and specialized transport services.

Cranes and Transport Middle East (CATME) will be an essential learning and networking event for anyone working in the region’s crane and specialized transport sector.
